Amid the huge changes in Fenerbahçe that is seeing veteran Fenerbahçe players like Bekir Irtegyn, Mert Gunok and Pierre among others leave the team, defender Bekir Irtegun wasn't offered a contract extension and will be finding a new club in the summer.
Bekir thanked the Fenerbahçe community for the six years he spent at the club and thanked everyone who stood by him and the team during the pressuring times of the match fixing scandal. Here is the letter Bekir posted:
Bekir joined Fenerbahçe in 2009 from Gaziantepspor and helped the team win the 2009 Super Cup, 2011 and 2014 league titles and two Turksih Cups as well as reaching the 2012-13 Europa League semifinals.
