UEFA sent Fenerbahçe a letter inviting the club to play in European competition for the 2014-15 season...Fenerbahçe received a statement from UEFA that read:
"... (Fenerbahçe) meet all admission criteria ... in the regulations of the UEFA Champions League ... Your club is admitted to the UEFA 2015-16 Champions League ... and UEFA Youth League..."
Fenerbahçe will enter the Champions League in the third qualifying round and the possible opponents are: Ajax Amsterdam, Shaktar Donetsk, Club Brugges, CSKA Moscow and Monaco.
