Alex de Souza Says Farewell Tonight

Fenerbahce legend Alex de Souza will be lacing up his boots for the last time tonight in a jubilee match...

Alex, unarguably Fenerbahce's all time greatest foreign player will be hanging up his boots after tonights jubilee match that will be played in the Allianz Parque Stadium, the home of his former club Palmeiras.

The match will see former Fenerbahce and Brazil legends such as Rustu Recber, Zico, Rivaldo, Diego Lugano, Tuncay Sanli, Semih Senturk, Mateja Kezman, Mehmet Aurelio, Stephen Appiah Deived and Edmundo among others all participate.

Alexsandro de Souza, who joined Fenerbahce in 2004 after captaining the Brazilian national football team in the 2003 Confederations Cup played 1030 matches in his career scoring an outstanding 421 goals.

The match will be broadcasted on ESPN and will be played at 01:00 (Turkish timing).
