The 28-year old Turkish international holding midfielder has been linked with a move to Spain as more than four clubs including Atletico Madrid have reportedly sparkled interest in him.
However recent reports have been suggesting that Topal, whose contract is set to end in June 2016 is keen to stay in Istanbul with the Turkish champions rather than moving back to Spain where he enjoyed a successful spell with Valencia where he played a total of 59 matches in two seasons and will be signing a four year extension to his current contract.
Topal currently bags 2.05 million euros a year with a 10,000 euro bonus for every match he plays in; whereas it is being reported by the Turkish media that he will get a pay rise of 950,000 euros a season to reach a wage of 3 millions.
