The 27-year old striker apparently impressed the blues boss Jose Mourinho during his performance in the 2014 FIFA World Cup where is representing his nation Nigeria and now Chelsea are hoping to sing the speedy striker.
The rumors are claiming that Chelsea will be bidding somewhere around 16 million pounds (20 million euros) for the player which will be an offer hard to refuse as Fenerbahce signed Emenike last year for 13 million euros.
Emenike was one of Fenerbahce's better players this past season with 12 goals and 9 assists in 28 matches for the Turkish champions.
