Recent reports in the Turkish media are claiming that Fenerbahce midfielder Cristian Baroni is on his way to Sivasspor...
According to NTVSpor and other media outlets, Fenerbahce defensive-midfielder who fell out of favor with coach Ersun Yanal is on his way to Sivasspor; the team coached by his former Fenerbahce teammate Roberto Carlos.
Although nothing official, many people that the deal is a done deal with only the wage of the 31-year old Baroni being the issue now. Baroni currently receives 1.9 million euros per year, a wage that might be hard for Sivasspor to meet.
Prior to those reports it was rumored that Baroni will be on his way to his former club Corinthians from which he joined Fenerbahce from in 2009 for 5 million euros.
Baroni scored a total of 19 goals in 134 matches for Fenerbahce in his 5 year stint in the club.
