Fenerbahce legendary player Alex de Souza commented about his stance towards the club's administration and how he is being percieved from them to Turkish newspaper Bugun.
Alex de Souza visited Istanbul last month to record a documentary movie about his life and footballing career. In the documentary, he discussed his stay in Fenerbahce and generally in Istanbul in a detailed way.
During his stay in city he planned to visit Fenerbahçe's Can Bartu training facilities but his wish was declined by the club's administration. During his stay he also planned to attend the club's game Super League game against Bursaspor on the 20th of April. Following the rejection of his request by club adminstratir Mahmut Uslu, Alex managed to get entrance with the help of ex-Fenerbahce adminstrator Hulusi Belgu.
Alex de Souza discussed this issue with Turkish daily newspaper Bugun:
"I actually don't want to talk about this incident. There are little things to say about this. I don't understand the clubs negative attitude but I don't have any problems with Aziz Yildirim but it looks like he has some problems with me. Still I didnt figure out what is this problem. Being a player who wore the Fenerbahce shirt for a long time, I had come to Istanbul with good intentions. Unfortunately, we didn't solve those issues.
I would come to Istanbul again. I don't know when, I can't give an exact date but my connection with Istanbul won't end. I don't want to raise arguments but there is a message which I wanted to give to everyone. Without exception I want to stay friends with everyone. Its my main principality. Including the club's CEO I want to have good connections with everyone."
