According to AMK Spor among others, Terraneo recalled to Italy in an attempt to hire Antontio Conte as the Fenerbahçe coach. AMK are claiming that the 45-year old would be interested in taking over at Fenerbahçe if provided with a respectable transfer budget.
Conte took over as Italy coach last summer after the World Cup and before that he managed Juventus where he won the 2013 manager of the year award with after considerable domestic success.
Conte is played as a central midfielder for Lecce, Juventus and Italian national football team and he is a fan favorite among the Juventus fans having played for 13 years before managing the Old Lady for three years.
