Italian website CalcioMercado.com; during an interview, asked the current Akhisar Belediyespor coach and ex-Fenerbahce player Roberto Carlos about talks in the media about him becoming head coach of Fenerbahce, to which Carlos responded as:
"There are chance of this if Fenerbahce do not become champions. There are different offers I am getting right now. We will look at the end of the season. Currently I am having good experiences at Akhisar Belediyespor. Last season I completed at 4th place with Sivasspor. I am currently try to make sure that Akhisar will end in the best possible position at the end of the season."
During the interview, Roberto Carlos also said that he feels ready to be the head coach one of the Italian clubs next season.
