Milliyet: Fenerbahçe Turns Focus Towards German Coaches

Turkish daily newspaper Milliyet has stated that Fenerbahce would focus towards signing a top German coach. Top of the list is USA  head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

According to Milliyet, the club is planning to negotiate with three or four established German coaches with numerous successes in their career. The newspaper states that current USA head coach Klinsmann is at the top of the list.

Fenerbahçe would plan to start negotiations with those candidates after the General Meeting of the club's administrators takes place at the end of May.

Meanwhile, club also plans to bring back the sporting director position to the club (last held by Aykut Kocaman in the 2009-10 season). The sports director will be in direct contact with the club coach as an assistant and a bridge between the head coach and the administrative side of the club.

Following protests towards Aziz Yildirim and current head coach Ismail Kartal by Fenerbahce fans during the Turkish Cup 2nd leg game against Bursaspor, Yildirim is focused on creating a more successful club with an established head coach next season.
