Contract Talks with Mert Günok to be Held in June

According to Turkish daily newspaper Takvim, Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim has told club's goalkeeper Mert Günok that contract extension talks will take place after the season ends.

The newspaper states that Mert Günok asked Aziz Yildirim to discuss his future at the club as his current contract ends this season. However, Aziz Yildirim has stated that right now is not time as club is focussed into getting the title of this Super League season and get its fourth star.

Mert Günok had wished to discuss a contract extension as he is getting lots of transfer offers right now and wants to make sure of his role in the future of the club.

We note that we previously reported that Mert is being targeted by Tranzonspor and West Ham United; and there were other rumors linking him to Manchsster United as well.
