The Portuguese international midfielder is being linked with a move to Merseyside outfit Everton with the Toffees rumored to be willing to splash out 3-4 million pounds on the former Liverpool man.
Meireles have previously played for Everton's local rivals Liverpool for one season before joining Chelsea where he won the Champions League with the London-based club.
The only problem for Everton though would be affording Meireles' wages who is currently only 3 million euros a year with a 10,000 euro bonus for every match he plays in.
Meireles joined Fenerbahce in summer 2012 for £8 million and has scored seven goals in 81 official matches so far.
