Tottenham Bid for Emmanuel Emenike

According to the British media, Tottenham have bid for Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike...

British media outlets such as Metro, The Independent and Express among others have confirmed that according to their sources, Tottenham are set to beat both Chelsea and Liverpool to the signing of Nigerian international striker Emmanuel Emenike after making an 8 million pound bid.

Other sources are claiming that Tottenham will try to add Soldado as part of the transfer but it is believed that Fenerbahce aren't interested in signing the Spanish striker.

Emenike has fell out of favor with Fenerbahce coach Ismail Kartal this season and he has started most of the matches on the bench and was even left out of the matchday squad a few times.

The 27-year old striker who played a vital role in Nigeria's 2014 World Cup campaign previously signed for Fenerbahce from Spartak Moscow for 13 million euros (11.2 million pounds) but it is believed that after his subpar performances this season Fenerbahce are ready to listen to offers in the region of 10 million pounds.
