The London based team was reportedly interested in signing the Nigerian international striker and they offered Fenerbahce 8 million pounds for the out of favor services; however Fenerbahce issued an official statement stating that the club has no interest in selling the player, at least for now:
“Emmanuel Emenike is a Fenerbahce player and has a contract with us until 2017, there are currently no transfer talks."
