The Swedish international who publicly announced that he will only be joining Fenerbahce shocked the footballing community in Turkey by arriving in Trabzon earlier today to pen to paper on a 2.5 year contract.
It is reported that Fenerbahce refused to agree with Eskisehirspor over Erkan's transfer fee and were not willing to pay 2.25 million euros for a player who might not be a first team player.
Trabzonspor payed Eskisehirspor 2.25 million euros for his services and the player will be payed 1.6 million euros a season.
