Fenerbahce announced the signing of Danish defender Simon Kjaer for four years on Wednesday (17.06) morning.
Following the negotiations that took place with Kjaer during the past few days, Fenerbahce agreed on terms with Danish defender and have signed him for four years. Fenerbahce made the following statement:
"We have reached an agreement with Simon Kjaer and his club Lille for the transfer of the player. The club will pay 7.650.000 EUR transfer fee to the Lille due to the agreement with the player for 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons. The signed contract will go into effect from 1.07.2015.
The Danish defender who was born in 1989, will compete for Fenerbahce for this new season. We welcome Simon Kjaer to Fenerbahce, and wish him great wins and championships in this shirt"
