Ex-Fenerbahce and current Konyaspor head coach Aykut Kocaman spoke to the media that he has met Aziz Yildirim's brother, Ali Yildirim, but the meeting was not based about Fenerbahçe's top job. Kocaman adds that he did not recieve any offer from the club for the top position.
With Fenerbahce currently searching for a new head coach following the resignation of Ismail Kartal, the media is coming up with new names for the position on daily basis. Among them is the head coach Aykut Kocaman who have won the championship in the 2010-11 season.
According to the several rumours, Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim's brother, Ali Yildirim, have had dinner with Aykut Kocaman to discuss about the possibility of him becoming head coach.
The current Konyaspor head coach had responded to the following rumours to the media:
" I am a close friend to Ali. Our meeting had nothing to do with Fenerbahce. I did not recieve any offer. Even if I recieved one, its impossible for it to happen".
