Aziz Yildirim: I Will Fire Everyone!

Turkish daily newspaper Sabah states that Fenerbahce CEO was very angry towards his team during the 33rd week of the Super League game against Istanbul Basaksehir Spor.

According to Sabah, Yildirim was watching the game at home (due to a punishment given to him by football federation) with some of his friends. As the game progressed Yildirim was observed to be in disbelief and anger towards the players. According to the newspaper, at the end of he game Yildirim said the following words in anger:

"Can there be football like that? Those players are unbelievable. We just gave the title to Galatasaray ourselves. Shame on them. I will fire everyone. They don't deserve the Fenerbahce shirt. They will pay for this. I will send everyone (away). Players who don't respect the Fenerbahce shirt, have nothing to do at the club."

It is still unknown what kind of changes the team's squad will see during this summer transfer window but it is clear that Ismail Kartal's future at the club is at risk. Ismail Kartal completed the season with the second place in the league and reached semi-final of the Turkish Cup.

As Galatasaray recieved their 20th title in the Super Lig, Fenerbahce had secured second place (Champions League qualifying spot) prior to one week of the end of season.
