Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim has asked manager of Brazilian Fenerbahce player Diego, to pay back the 5 million Euro fee which was payed to the player as a signing bonus, according to daily Turkish newspaper Takvim, Yildirim also has stated that Diego can leave the club after payback.
The following crises arisen after Diego had complained to Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regarding not receiving his wages for last two months. Club has become unhappy with Diego actions as of bad timing (next week after Trabzon bus incident) and for Diego not talking about this issue to the club administrators and fellow players.
Meanwhile, following the meeting between player manager and Yildirim, manager has gave word to Yildirim that Diego will carry on playing until end of season and would not raise any issues.
There are reports that Russian and Qatar clubs are interested to transfer Diego during this summer transfer window.
