Fenerbahce captain Emre Belozoglu's agent spoke with the media and assured that his client will renew his contract this Summer...
Emre's agent, Ahmet Bulut, spoke with the media and said that his client Emre will be signing a two=year contact with the club that keeps him with the Yellow Canaries until June 2017.
Bulut went on to say that after this 2-year contract expires, Emre will take over as Fenerbahce's sporting director where he will directly be involved with all transfers and hirings at Fenerbahce, similar to Aykut Kocaman's role in the 2009-2010 season.
It has previously been rumored that Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim wants Emre to become Fenerbahce's sporting director this Summer but Emre made it clear that he wants to continue playing football for at least 2-3 more years and was rumored to be on the move to the MLS in the United States.
This news will surely be welcomed by the Fenerbahce fans as the club recently lost Dirk Kuyt to Feyenoord and it is expected that several foreign players will be leaving the team following the terrorist attack on the team bus last week.
Emre joined Fenerbahce from Newcastle United in 2008 before leaving Fenerbahce to Atletico Madrid in Summer 2012 only to rejoin the Turkish champions in January 2013.
