Bruno Alves' Replacement Found?

According to reports in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce found a replacement for Portuguese defender Bruno Alves.

Bruno Alves is said to have fell out of favor after an unneeded "tackle" landed him a direct red card in the Galatasaray derby a few weeks ago. Fenerbahce went on to lose the match 2-1 thanks to late goals from Wesley Sneijder.

Now reports in Turkey are claiming that Fenerbahce have already bid for Akhisar Belediyespor's Ugur Demirok, who as Bruno Alves, plays as  a centre-back.

The 25-year old Turkish defender caught eyes last season after a very impressive season, and with his continuous run in form that saw him start all nine matches in the league this season and scoring against Kasimpasa he seems to be a good replacement if Bruno Alves indeed leaves.

Ugur's contract is set to expire at the end of the season which will play a role in lowering his transfer fee if he is to join Fenerbahce in January.
