The 31-year old defender joined Basaksehir after he wasn't offered a new contract by Fenerbahçe who he played for from 2009-2015.
The 10-time Turkish international centreback/rightback signed a 3+1 year contract with the Istanbul outfit that will be participating the Europa League this season.
Başakşehir are also linked with out of contract Fenerbahçe players Pierre Webo, Emre Belozoglu and Egemen Korkmaz.
