Simon Kjaer put pen to paper on a 4-year contract Wesnesday afternoon and had the following to say to the media:
"I'm proud to be here - the reaction when I came here was overwhelming - how many fans has written to me on twitter.
I actually just had to talk to the sporting director and the coach, and after that conversation it was an easy choice. I am pleased to be here.
The way my family and myself has been treated, it was really only positive. For me it was very important to come to a place to win championship.
I hope to make a great name for myself here for the club and for everyone."
