Atletico PR: Other Clubs are Interested In Fernandeo

Atletico PR vice-president Marcio Lara has announced that there are many Turkish and European clubs that are interested in transferring Fernandao. Lara confirmed that among most active of them is Fenerbahce but stated that the offers are unsatisfactorily to them.

According to Turkish daily newspaper Sabah, Atletico PR vice-president Marcio Lara commented about the possibilities of Fernandao transferring to Fenerbahce. Marcio Lara responded about the transfer negotiations as follows:

"Fernandao is once again our player. He is currenly on holiday and we did not discuss with him anything about the transfer. He wants to stay in Turkey. We informed him that we would allow the transfer to go ahead as long as our demands are met. Fenerbahce are having negotiations with us, but its not only them. There are many other Turkish and European clubs sending transfer offers to us. Fernandao has become leading goalscorer in Turkish league. Teams which want to buy him should take this into account.There are negotiations regarding thr player but so far they're unsatisfactorily"

The following statement by Lara contradicts rumours about Fenerbahce's stance, which gave picture that transfering Fernandao was only left to matter of signing contract.

Following appointment of Vitor Pereira as club's head coach, Fenerbahce General Secretary Mahmut Uslu said the following words to media "We would buy another forward alongside Fernadao" hinting that the Fernandao negotiations had come to an agreement.
