According to the newspaper, Diego is worried that he would hardly recieve any play time with the following formation. The newspaper claims that during training sessions Diego is much quieter from last season and is showing signs of wanting to depart from the club.
According to Aksam, Diego said the following words to his team-mates about how he sees his role with 4-4-2 formation:
"If this coach will play with 4-4-2 then where would I play? Whatever I will do, I wont make it to the starting 11."
Diego is aware that with current forward players like Emenike, Sow, Fernandao and potential signings Luiz Adriano or Robin van Persie; his chances of being among the starting 11 are low:
" Among four forwards, two would play for sure. With this situation how I would be able to play".
