"A Bola": Vitor Perreira Agrees to Join Fenerbahce

Portuguese newspaper A Bola has reported that Portuguese head coach Vitor Pereira has agreed to join Fenerbahce as head coach. The paper underlines that conversations with Fenerbahce players Bruno Alves and Raul Meireles played an important role in his decision.

The Portuguse newspaper states that Pereira, who is currently at Greek club Olympiakos, is not thinking to stay at the club and plans to move to another European club. A Bola also underlines that Pereira was more favouring a move to Scottish club Glasgow Rangers until he had a conversation with Fenerbahce Portuguese players Raul Meireles and Bruno Alves, who praised the club.

"A Bola" suggest in their article that Periera agreed on a two year deal with Fenerbahçe but there has been no official statement from the club as of yet.

A Bora also states that UAE club Al Ahli has also offered a deal to Pereira, but Pereira has declined because he wants to stay at a European club next season.

Vitor Pereira won the Portuguese championship with Porto twice (2011-12 and 2012-13) and the Greek league with with Olympiakos (2014-15).
