Fenerbahçe's New Sports Director: Guiliano Terraneo

Italian journalist Di Marzio (Sky Sprts) and Turkish daily newspaper Milliyet state that Fenerbahce had negotiations with Italian sports director Guiliano Terraneo on Thursday (28.06). Milliyet also states that at the end of negotiations, Terraneo was appointed as a sports director.

An article written by Milliyet journalist, Senad Ok, mentions that Fenerbahce contaxted contacted with Terraneo and asked him to come to Istanbul for negotiations. According to Ok, at the end of negotiations the club appointed Terraneo as the new sports director.

Italian journalist Di Marzio also announced through Twitter that Terraneo signed a three-year deal with Fenerbahçe.

Terraneo used to be footballer (goalkeeper) from of 1972 to 1990, playing at Italian clubs, including Milan, Lazio and Torino Calcio. After his footballing career, Terraneo was sports director of Inter Milan and Lazio.

Meanwhile, the newspaper also states that following the appointment of Terraneo, the club will be looking for a new head coach. The search for new coach would intensify following Fenerbahce congress taking place this weekend.
