Fenerbahçe Receive FOUR Red Cards in 2-2 Draw

Fenerbahçe were down 2-0 by the 65th minute as Basaksehir's Mehmet Batdal scored two goals in 12 minutes only; however Brazilian playmaker Diego Ribas opened the scoring for Fenerbahçe in the 81st minute, with Pierre Webo scoring the second in the 88th minute.

As Fenerbahçe were building momentum the refeeee awarded a penalty to Basaksehir which was eventually missed by Mehmet Badtal keeping the score 2-2.

Fenerbahçe's Mehmet Topuz, Caner Erkin, Bruno Alves and Pierre Webo all received red cards; this was the first time Fenerbahçe received four red cards in a single match.

Fenerbahçe are now second with 71 points, five points behind leaders Galatasaray who are already champions with only one week left to go. Besiktas are third with 66 points.

Fenerbahçe will host Kasimpasa in the final week of the season; no result will affect the standing of the team.
