German national team head coach Joachim Low has agreed to assist Fenerbahce head coach Ismail Kartal during his visit to Istanbul. Low has met with Ismail Kartal to discuss a joint project, according to Turkish daily newspaper Hurriyet.
In this midweek, Low have visited Istanbul to meet his friend from his Fenerbahce days, Ismail Kartal who was his assistant coach at his reign in the club. The meeting which first was announced as a friendship visit to his old friend and club, was in reality a meeting to discuss a possible project between the two coaches according to newspaper.
The joint project, which will mainly help Fenerbahce and Kartal consists of three points, which are as follows:
1. Fenerbahce would aim to make club play better football and raise tempo of the game. To achieve that, Fenerbahce assistant coaches will meet with Low in Germany to discuss about practical aspects of achieving this. Low in return will come to Istanbul after 3 weeks of meeting to check the progress made at Fenerbahce on this aspect.
2. Fenerbahce coach Kartal would join Germany national team training session for four days prior to the game played by Germany. During those days Kartal will watch how German national team is preparing to the game and what kind of trainings methods and technics are done. Kartal will also observe how coaches prepare players psychologically prior to the game.
3. Joachim Low would send his scout reports of younger players who are playing at German leagues and are capable to be successful at Fenerbahce. With those reports Kartal will be able to make his transfer lists.
