Former Fenerbahce Player Passes Away

Former Fenerbahce player John Moshoeu passed away today after a long battle with cancer...

The 49-year-old spent almost a month at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg in February and was discharged later that month.
In May 2014, Moshoeu hung up his boots after spending several seasons with third-tier side Alexandra United.
Moshue played in Turkey with Fenerbahce, Genclerbirligi, Kocaelispor and Bursaspor for a total of ten years between 1993-2003 and represented the South African national team on 73 occasions appearing in a FIFA World Cup, two FIFA confederations cup and three African Cup of Nations tournaments.

We pass our condolences to Moshoeu's family.
