Fenerbahce added two more goals thanks to a long range beauty by Hasan Ali Kaldirim with Caner Erkin scoring Fenerbahce's final goal of the night off the deflection.
Mersin's only goal came from Hungarian international forward Marko Futacs.
Fenerbahce will now face Bursaspor in the semifinals with the first leg being played in two weeks in Bursa; Bursaspor have previously knocked out Genclerbirligi 4-3 on aggregate. The other semifinal will feature Galatasaray and Sivasspor.
