Ribas' wages were paid by the club two days ago after the latter's complaint against the club at the TFF and after it was rumored by some European media outlets that Diego might in fact be leaving Fenerbahce to return to Brazil or join Aston Villa in England, Diego insisted that all issues with the clubs have been solved:
"Dear Fans. After today's meeting with the President at the clubs premises due to some issues raised several weeks ago, I can confirm you that everything is clear. I would also like to clarify that I have never had the intention to leave the Club and that I will continue, as I've always done, doing my best efforts for the benefit of the team.Thanks for all the Fenerbahce fans!"
