Fenerbahce thrashed Gaziantepspor 5-0 in their Super Lig fixture...

The defending Turkish champions entered the match without veteran goalkeeper Volkan Demirel who is serving his second match out of his four match ban.

Fenerbahce took the lead early in hte 8th minute as Emenike converted Kuyt's lob through pass. However it was only until the second half that Fenerbahce unleashed their full power against the hosts as Kuyt scored a well placed header in the 58th minute, with Moussa Sow scoring a brace later in the 60th and 68th minute.

The returning Emre Belozoglu then scored Fenerbahce's fifth and final goal of the night from the penalty in the 73rd minute, ending Gaziantepspor's 15 minutes of toture which saw them concede four goals.

Fenerbahce are now first in the league with 46 points and (+21) goal difference, two points ahead of second placed Besiktas (44 points, +14 goal difference) who still have a match in hand where they host Bursaspor tomorrow. For full league standings click here.
