Fenerbahce players Raul Meireles and Bruno Alves have been named in Portugal's initial 30-man squad while Emmanuel Emenike and Joseph Yobo (on-loan at Norwich City) have been named in Nigeria's 30-man squad and Pierre Webo has been named in Cameroon's provisional 28-man squad (that interestingly includes 5 players from the Super Lig and one player from Turkey's second division).
The one player who might also be named is Dirk Kuyt who travelled from Istanbul to his native country where he joined his national team in the Netherlands in the hopes of making it in van Gaal's team; who only chose 20 players with three spots left up for grabs.
