The 28-year old defensive midfielder has a callus in his right foot which has been causing severe pain as of late and will be removing it in a minor surgery.
Topal will need around 20 days to be able to play normally again which is the reason he wasn't named in Fatih Terim's Turkish squad for the national team camp that started yesterday.
