Erkin's agent Batur Altiparmak was quoted saying: "Many European clubs have been tracking Caner for a long time now, among them big Italian, English and French teams.However we have decided that we will sit on the table with Fenerbahce and decide accordingly."
"Fenerbahce are expected to make a new offer this week, and I don't think there will be any problems as Caner would like to stay at Fenerbahce", he added.
However Fenerbahce's biggest concerns will be Erkin's wages, he is currently taking 0.7 million euros a year but most Turkish media outlets are suggesting that Fenerbahce's new offer to Caner will be in the region of 2.5 million euros.
