Infantino said that the match-fixing case against Fenerbahce is now over: "As I stated yesterday the match-fixing case against Fenerbahce has now ended".
Infantino also stated that the bans both Fenerbahce and Besiktas received will be the only punishments for the club which agitated Trabzonspor president Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu who has previously claimed that his team should be awarded the 2011 league title.
Repying to Haciosmanoglu's request, Infantino said: "Haicosmanoglu is not the UEFA secretary, he is the Trabzonspor president".
Haciosmanoglu is now expected to meet with UEFA executives in regards to this case but since Infantino announced that the case has been completely closed it is unlikely for any change to occur.
